Facility Information

330 East Beach Road
Nordland, WA 98358

Park Description

East Beach Park is small day use area with limited parking. Please help this neighborhood remain peaceful by walking, biking, or carpooling. While the park does contain pit toilets and a small shelter, it is not available for private rental. HJ Carroll Park is a good alternative for private events, as it has more space, an accessible restroom, and plenty of parking.

Jefferson County Parks are open to the public from sunrise to sunset.

Facility Directions
Located on Marrowstone Island. Traveling on Hwy 116 east of Port Hadlock, turn left at Hwy 116 sign to continue on Hwy 116, through Indian Island, then at Marrowstone Island "y" in road, take left to travel north about 1 mile, after passing the Nordland store, go about 1/2 mile, turn right on East Beach Rd.  Park is straight ahead, at end of road.

No Alcohol in East Beach Park
“In the State of Washington it is illegal to open or consume alcoholic beverages in a public place" (see Title 66.44.100 of the RCW). This law applies in all Jefferson County parks, campgrounds, and recreation facilities. Exceptions to this law can be granted by the Washington State Liquor Control Board (see Title 314 of the WAC) in the form of a banquet permit or a special occasion license for example. All proposals to serve alcohol at an event in a Jefferson County Park are subject to approval by Jefferson County. For more information please contact Matt Tyler at 360-385-9129 or mtyler@countyrec.com.

Help Keep East Beach Park Nice and Clean!

East Beach Park receives very limited maintenance. Staff are usually able to empty the garbage can once per week. Please help us keep the area nice and clean by removing your own garbage, picking up the area, and leaving it just a little nicer than you found it! Thank you.

Shellfish & Water Safety
Washington shellfish resources are managed by both the DOH (safety & water quality) and WDFW (harvest regulations). See up-to-date health and season information for shellfish and shellfish beaches. Follow the link for the Washington Shellfish Safety Map.
