Amenities
Two event pavilions: the Rotary Pavilion and the Wild Olympic Salmon Shelter. Rotary Pavilion is sized for a group of 2 to 100 or more.  Hold your wedding or large event at H.J. Carroll Park! The Pavilion has power, water, two large bbq grills, and grassy area. The Wild Olympic Salmon Shelter is sized for a group of 2 to 50 or more. The Salmon Shelter is surrounded by our beautiful native plant demonstration garden, and is close to the Chimacum Creek access area. The Chimacum Creek access area is a lovely and gentle trail that leads to an open area with seating near the scenic Chimacum Creek Labyrinth, which is a maze built of stones for you to meditate in. Play on the Perimeter Trail with over a kilometer of accessible, surfaced trail to walk around while viewing the beautiful park. Beautifully landscaped berms, edges, and other areas for you to enjoy.Restrooms are clean, warm and lighted. Bus stop serviced by Jefferson Transit.  

Two state of the art outdoor basketball courts. Concessions stand. Picnic area with outdoor grills.  Playground for little ones overlooking the athletic fields. A great BMX Practice Track for all sorts of bicycles, and all ages and skill levels. Disc golf course with nine holes, both in the trees and out in the open, great for beginners and advanced. Athletic fields: Huge soccer fields capable of supporting numerous games; Baseball & softball with skinned infield, backstop, and bleachers. 

The park is supervised 24 hours a day by our caretakers. See document link at bottom of page for fee information. Any non-profit or for profit business that serves alcohol will need a special Banquet permit, see http://liq.wa.gov/licensing/special-licenses-and-permits for more information.

Facility Directions
From Chimacum, head north on HWY 19 from the stop light at Chimacum intersection, travel approximately 1.5 miles, turn right on H.J. Carroll Park Road. For complete fee information please see the link at the bottom of this page.

You may make an online Reservation Request for a specific date and time using this website. Use the Account Login (or set up an account for your family or organization) under Account Info at top left of this screen. Once you are signed in,use Start a Facility Request link to submit a request for your reservation. Facility Availability: You may check for availability for a specific location and date by using View Availability Chart link within the Start a Facility Request screen. 

Businesses, non-profits, government agencies, and other entities will be required to provide a Certificate of Commercial Liability Insurance insurance naming Jefferson County as additionally insured for the event.

No Alcohol in HJ Carroll Park
“In the State of Washington it is illegal to open or consume alcoholic beverages in a public place" (see Title 66.44.100 of the RCW). This law applies in all Jefferson County parks, campgrounds, and recreation facilities. Exceptions to this law can be granted by the Washington State Liquor Control Board (see Title 314 of the WAC) in the form of a banquet permit or a special occasion license for example. All proposals to serve alcohol at an event in a Jefferson County Park are subject to approval by Jefferson County.
