Junior Counselor in Training Program

The Junior Counselor-in-Training Program is designed for campers about 11-14 looking for an opportunity to strengthen and practice their leadership skills while having fun! Junior CIT’s are the campers who are looked up to by other campers. A Junior CIT is enthusiastic about everything they participate in and leads by example! Junior CIT’s will attend a leadership training session and practice learned skills during two week long sessions of Rec Summer Day Camp. Space is limited, so apply now!

• Pick up an application at the Rec Center, or to download one, May 12, 2014.
• Promising applicants will be invited to a brief interview.
• Once selected, Junior CIT’s will be required to attend one training session, (Saturday June 7th 2014 10am-2pm).
• Payment of $150 for the program includes required training session and two full weeks of summer day camp. Get ready for a fun and enriching camp experience!
